FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • I don't see my size listed, can I request my size or order custom?"
We do our best to offer most items in a variety of sizes. We often use deadstock or upcycled one-of-a-kind fabrics, which means that some items come in limited quantities and sizes depending on supply. HOWEVER, if you love something, don't hesitate to reach out and we'll make something just for you if time allows!
  • What makes your brand "sustainable"?"
We love FASHION, but the industry is the 3rd leading polluter in the world, just behind the oil industry and animal agriculture. Things we do to promote sustainability in the fashion industry: ~We often use deadstock fabrics. Deadstock refers to remnants of fabric left over from big fashion brands or design studios. The upside is you get a one of a kind look and the fabric is kept out of the waste stream! ~We seek out second hand or upcycled fabrics. Have you ever seen a curtain so pretty you wanted to make it into an outfit? Well, we have! We like to hunt online and at second hand stores for quality vintage fabrics or even cool items (like curtains) that can be upcycled into clothing ~We are mostly a one-person team, but when we need help we always hire local sewests to invest in our local economy ~We upcycle, a LOT! We are always looking for ways to reuse or repurpose things in the studio in order to reduce waste. For example, we've been working on making our Face Mask ear loops with stretchy jersey knit scraps, reducing waste while providing a comfy and durable fit for our masks. We're always looking for ways to improve and grow. Let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions!
  • What do you mean clothing has no gender?
Clothing has no gender for the same reason colors have no gender. For example, the colors pink and blue are only recently associated with 'femininity' and 'masculinity'. In the 1890's, pink was a 'masculine' color. Masculine people have worn skirts, dresses and wigs for centuries, yet our society is adament that dresses are 'for women.' Gender is a social construct that often gets confused for sex. Gender is the expression of your identity, and since our identities are multifaceted, why can't gender be multifacted too? We believe that clothing does not belong to any one gender, and that everyone should feel safe and supported wearing whatever they want to express themselves. • What does "Fashion for Every Body" mean?"
We believe that everyone should be allowed access to clothing that is comfortable and makes them feel attractive, regardless of size or body shape. Unfortunately, in the fashion industry, there is a serious lack in size inclusivity and representation for many body types. Fat and disabled bodies are often underepresented or not represented at all. We want to do better. We offer a variety of sizes for most of our products and LOVE making custom orders made to your measurements! We are still a small shop with limitations, but we will always go the extra mile to make you feel seen and look fabulous.
  • How do I request a custom order?
Send us an email! We do not offer custom garments all the time, only when time allows. Please include the words CUSTOM ORDER in the subject heading and attach some references or inspiration photos. If you're wanting an item from the shop made with custom measurements/fit, please include an image of the product you'd like us to customize. Keep in mind that prices for custom items will vary greatly based on fabric, additions, etc. Production time will likely be longer than our usual 3-5 business day, as we'll need to account for back-and-forth communication (we want to make sure everything is JUST RIGHT). If you need to RUSH a custom order, please make sure you say that first thing in your email along with the date you need it by.
  • How long will it take for my order to arrive?
All items in our shop are made to order unless otherwise stated in the listing. Our current processing time is 3-5 business days not including weekends, holidays or shipping time. Shipping time depends on where you are and the method of shipment selected at checkout. Visit our Shipping & Returns section for more info!
  • How do I initiate a return/exchange?
The best way is to send us an email with RETURN/EXCHANGE in the subject heading, with your order number and reason for the return/exchange in the body of the email. We will respond to messages on social media, but we are a team of 1-3 max, so email is the best way to start this process.
  • Can I exchange an item if I ordered the wrong size?
Yes! As long as the item is unworn/unwashed, we will gladly accept an exchange. Please email us with your order number and the reason for your exchange within 5 days of receiving your order. In order to avoid this from happening in the first place, please reach out to us about sizing! We want everything to fit like a dream and make you feel good in your body, so send us a message before ordering if you're unsure about sizing OR request a custom order, made-to-measure just for YOU!
  • Can I exchange an item for any reason?
Since we are a small handmade shop, we do have a few things we WON'T accept for returns/exchanges. ~Any worn or washed items ~Lingerie/underwear/swimsuits ~Face masks If seams are broken, or other obvious defects, we are happy to make repairs, exchanges, etc. Because of the nature of masks and undergarments, we are not able to accept returns. However, please contact us with any issues and we will do our best to find a solution!
  • What items are elligible for returns/exchanges?
Any unworn/unwashed item in the shop, EXCLUDING: ~Lingerie ~Underwear ~Swimsuit bottoms ~Face masks
  • My package got lost in the mail, what do I do?"
Although we are not liable for packages lost/damaged by the postal service chosen at checkout, we want you to receive your goodies! Here are some steps to follow: ~Contact the postal service directly with your tracking number (USPS has great customer service and you can usually submit a missing package report online) ~Check with neighbors/other members of your household to see if they've seen/accepted it on your behalf by accident (you'd be suprised how often this happens) ~If you don't hear back from the postal service, email us with your order number and tracking number. We will make a request on your behalf and continue with next steps upon the conclusion of the postal carrier
  • I gave the wrong address! How do I fix it?
Don't panic! Email or message us on Instagram immediately with your order number and CORRECT address. We will fix it right away if we can. However, if your order is already sewn and shipped, we recommend contacting the postal carrier directly to redirect your package OR contact the current tenant at the address provided to go about receiving your package.
  • My package was damaged in transit, what should I do?"
We encourage you to file a damaged package report with the postal carrier you chose at checkout. However, we are happy to work out a solution with you. Please email us with your order number and photos of the damaged product with these items in view; exterior and interior packaging, shipping label and invoice.
